History: I never had a problem installing distros before! Am no expert, but not a novice...although chemo messed up my brain a bit. So patience please.
I have a multi-boot system in Lenovo Thinkcentre 91P. 2 drives.
Was: Windows 10, Drive 0, 5 Linux distros, Drive 1.
Windows update at some point could no longer boot any distros, just windows.
Went through many hoops trying to get the distros working. Ultimately, cloned everything and wiped both drives. Reinstalled windows 10, reinstalled all 5 distros on 2nd drive, none would boot.
Due to UEFI issues, went back and made sure Legacy only in bios, usb drives, etc. Also, put on controller to turn drives individually on/off, so Windows never sees the other drive. Reinstalled Windows 10 in Legacy first drive, Windows boots, tried to install all 5 distros on 2nd drive, none will boot. All hange on splash screen. Some had display issues. Now am taking one distro at a time.
First distro:
Installed Ubuntu Studio 20.04 (live usb), would hang on boot screen.
Installed UBuntu Studio 21.04 (live usb), still hangs same place, except screen had gridded tiny green dots.
Reinstalled 21.04 and hanging on black screen with Ubuntu Studio Logo. No mouse and no menu on any display.
Other Ubuntu distros not Studio, hangs on garbled screen.
Ubuntu 21.04 boots only from live usb in safe graphics mode.
Ubuntu 20.04 boots well in both live usb normal and safe graphics mode.
I have read through the many answers to these display and boot problems. Nothing I have tried has worked.

Boot repair didn't fix issue.
Please help.
