Unclaimed Wifi adpater

in flag

I have got a Ubuntu 20.04, Windows 10 dual boot on my PC. I've to occasionally use Windows for a course but after I log back into Ubuntu I'm unable to access the internet,

sudo lshw -c network

shows network unclaimed, the problem goes away after I reboot into Windows and then back into Ubuntu. However, it is still a bit of an inconvenience. I've seen certain related questions but none works for me. I'm unable to use Bluetooth tethering, manage device in the notification panel does nothing when the problem arises, I don't have an ethernet cable so can't connect using that either.

Disable Fast Startup in Windows - a must if dual-booting and generally recommend - and try again.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
