Wireless connection problem for new users

kz flag

I am a new user with Ubuntu OS, so my problem is with the wireless connection, and I know it is a common problem but I can not resolve it. I tried many solutions from forums, but it did not work. What should I do? I checked for the drivers and they are all updated.I use Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop, and my device is Dell Latitude E7450. The problem is that the wi-fi is very slow on the laptop but on the mobile devices works fine. I checked for the wi-fi driver and it's iwlwifi.

We don't know what Ubuntu product or release you're talking about (Ubuntu Server?, Ubuntu Desktop?, a specialist release? let alone what release?) nor what device you're using. Did you try the troubleshooting guides? https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessTroubleShootingGuide/Devices is most useful; ie. to work out what chipset your wifi uses so you can search online, and it's detail we need to help you.

Look at the logs! `sudo journalctl -b 0 -u NetworkManager`. Read `man journalctl`.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
