KDE Plasma Login-Loop

cn flag

When trying to login in Kernel Version 5.4.0.77-generic, I enter the correct password and get sent back to the login screen after a short blackscreen.

When booting into another kernel like 5.8, 5.11 or 5.13 I don't have this issue, yet I need 5.4 for my software. What could be causing this issue?

run command `lsblk`. is Plasma installed via snap like gnome? If so, it will be one (or more..) of the loopXX blocks.

Have you tried to use your software with one of the more recent kernels? It’s unusual to require an older one. If it doesn’t work I’d try uninstalling 5.4 and reinstalling it. What kind of graphics card are you using

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
