can't use dedicated gpu

Soo i can't use my dedicated gpu on my laptop (ideapad ideapad 100-15ibd, nvida geforce 920M).

i can see the gpu is there is i use this : lspci -k | grep -EA3 'VGA|3D|Display'

i've been serching online how to fix this but so far no luck.That's why i hope somebody could help me here.

First thing to do is to install Nvidia drivers. Then you may select profiles with Nvidia X Server Settings.

with nouveau it should work. i mean, did worked before

I strongly doubt it but even if giving you the benefit of the doubt it doesn't exclude the possibility that a newer *nouveau* version (partially) dropped support.
