How do I get a driver for TP-LINK TL-WN722N

cn flag

I’ve looked and many solutions. I can find it on the lsusb command but it won’t work still. I am using Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS.

Linux does not use the make/model of the board; it's the chipset used by the maker that matters. Did you try following official guides in locating what device you are using, eg. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessTroubleShootingGuide/Devices as that lets you find detail that allows us to help you, or allows you to search online yourself for useful answers. (*also try and be specific; Ubuntu 20.04 Server? (uses GA stack by default) or Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop? (uses the HWE stack by default) having different default kernel, thus kernel modules (ie. *drivers*) may differ*)

"I can find it on the lsusb command" And what does it reveal? Welcome to Ask Ubuntu.

I suspect that your device is: 2357:010C. If so, please check here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/912498/tl-wn722n-is-not-recognized

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
