Phones can be factory-reset (handy upon transfer to a new owner), but laptops generally cannot. Instead, the disk can be wiped and the Operating System can be reinstalled -- both can be done by the normal Ubuntu installer. You can [reset the administrator's password](https://askubuntu.com/questions/24006/how-do-i-reset-a-lost-administrative-password) on an Ubuntu system, but there is no "factory reset" feature currently in Ubuntu. Please edit your question to clearly explain what you really want to accomplish, and why a normal password reset is insufficient.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
