nmcli shows no device on working bridge

us flag

I have created a network-bridge to connect kvm vms to my host network. The network setup itself works fine, i can access vms and they can connect to internet, but nmcli c s shows a kinda unexpected result, if comparing the output to those of most tutorials.

NAME UUID TYPE DEVICE
Wired Connection 1 c7ccff30-4c54-3968-901b-a457d1f7d95c ethernet --
br0 c0dab5be-c0e7-4e71-9693-27215d2a0192 bridge --
bridge-slave-enp4s0 71f15948-041f-4faa-bb2d-d3903e6e1b1f ethernet --

As you can see, there is no device mentioned. Also the network icon in the top menu of ubuntus desktop shows that I'm disconnected, but im not. Im on Ubuntu 18.04 and NetworkManager manages the network. I did not modify /etc/interfaces/network, instead used nmcli solely.

Might I have any other problems in other scenarios with device missing in the output ? How can i possibly fix this ?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
