There are a lot of packages which are to be autoremoved. But I think some of them are very important. What to do?

I wanted to remove kubuntu-desktop from my pc and I used apt remove kubuntu-desktop*. It did remove kubuntu-desktop but it said that there were a lot of packages to be autoremoved. I looked at those packages and think they were very crucial. I search in the internet and found that I should not use * to remove packages. Now what should I do ? I haven't removed those packages yet.

How are we supposed to answer this question when you don't give us the list of packages?? Removing a desktop environment meta package is going to remove your entire desktop environment and most of your software. This is not a command you want to run unless you are prepared to rebuild your system and potentially deal with a lot of other problems. Changing desktop environments on an installed system is a pain: that's why Ubuntu is distributed in several flavors.

When asking, please be sure to include all relevant details. Essential details should always include both the input and output of any commands and you should always disclose the version and flavor of Ubuntu. Without details, we can only make guesses based on assumptions and this leads to bad answers

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
