Signing DisplayLink USB modules in Ubuntu 20.04 to show monitors while keeping Secure Boot Active

cn flag

I have Ubuntu 20.04 and I installed drivers for DisplayLink USB so I can detect my two external monitors. Drivers installed are displaylink-driver-5.4.0-55.153.run.

Disabling Secure Boot with mokutils as suggested here does the trick and external displays are working with no trouble.

However, I would like to keep Secure Boot active so the alternative seems to be signing some modules so they are trusted by Secure Boot.

I have read some answers signing modules for VirtualMachines and so but I would like to know which modules should I sign regarding DisplayLink so displays are detected while keeping Secure Boot active.

Thanks

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
