wlan0 not getting IP address from captive portal

nz flag

I am inside a hospital that uses a Cisco captive portal. Basically you connect to the public wifi and you get a box with the rules and you need to click OK and your connected. It disconnects you every two hours and you have to go thru the same process. It has been working fine in windows, Ubuntu 20.04 and MX Linux 19.2. I updated to MX 20 (beta) and the latest ubuntu. It still works in Windows but now I cannot connect using any flavor of Linux. I guess i can assume the IT folks have blocked Linux but I work with them and don't think they did that. I have had issues before with certain flavors of linux not getting an IP address. So I think it may be a kernel issue. I have attached the Dmesg from from it trying to connect. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks DMESG

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
