Change Ring parameters' pre-set maximum limits for NIC

cn flag

We have a Dell Poweredge R440 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Kernel - 5.4.0-80.90-generic).

The ethernet adapter is Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5720.

I need to increase the Ring buffer value to 4096 for both RX and TX. The issue is that the pre-set maximimums are not allowing me to change the values greater than them.

Ring parameters for eno2:
Pre-set maximums:
RX: 2047
RX Mini: 0
RX Jumbo: 0
TX: 511

How do I change these values to ..

Ring parameters for eno2:
Pre-set maximums:
RX: 4096
RX Mini: 0
RX Jumbo: 0
TX: 4096

I am somewhat sure that these are not hardware limits (wrong?).

How is it possible to do this, other than this way??

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
