How to resolve Stuck at boot issue after software updates [Xubuntu 20]

After doing automatic updates, boot is stuck at Lenovo screen. How would i resolve this? I have tried boot-repair to no avail. Please find the Pastebin here https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/zFxKdqRZTJ/

Please correct your release details; there is no Xubuntu 20 as Xubuntu is a desktop release that uses *deb* packages, thus all releases are *year.month* in format. Ubuntu reserves the *year* format for *snap* only releases, eg. Ubuntu Core 20 (having done so since 2016).
