For several weeks now I keep getting messages with:
"System program problem detected"
All crash reports contain very similar content:
ProblemType: KernelOops
Failure: oops
OopsText:
BUG: Bad page map in process ...
...
Call Trace:
Package: linux-image-4.15.0-151-generic 4.15.0-151.157

Uname: Linux 4.15.0-151-generic x86_64
One crash report was different with:
ProblemType: KernelOops
Failure: oops
OopsText:

A few times now the mouse driver had crashed together with these issues. When this happens I usually restart the system. After the restart the OS fails to start and instead I am greeted with this message:
/dev/sda2 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
Inodes that were part of a corrupted orphan linked list found.
/dev/sda2: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY: RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
fsck exited with status code 4
I always do:
fsck -f /dev/sda2
and then restart. After that the OS boots up like usual again. But since this has happened multiple times now I am afraid there might be a deeper issue.
Could this be a hardware issue or is there something wrong with the ubuntu installation?
I am using a Acer Swift SF113-31/ASAHI_AP, BIOS V1.09 12/21/2017 by the way.
