shortcut to delete whole line (not just in bash)

in flag

On MacOS, if you press cmd + backspace, the whole line gets deleted. I know you can do this in bash on Ubuntu by pressing ctrl + K, but would like to do this in other applications as well. Is there a way to do this?

Such a command is often specific for a particular tool or group of tools. In which tools do you need this feature? (ctrl + K works in the editors nano and emacs, not only in bash).

Chrome, Teams, IntelliJ, PyCharm, etc... So a global one would be best, like in MacOS

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
