Suspend mode doesn't work

mx flag

I upgraded system from 18.04 to 20.04 and now suspend mode doesn't work. I've seen online that many users report the same issue but i couldn't find a solution. Every time computer "suspends" (either after the time i chose, by clicking manually on "suspend" or by doing it in terminal) it goes on suspend mode for 1 second and immediately "wakes up".

I believe this should be a known and reported issue. Is there any solution already that doesn't involve installing an app?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
