Various .iso images... Looking for a base server and to add VM to that then run multiple servers on them

in flag

I want to run Ubuntu Server and on the site, there is mention of VM is that the server or is that a module type os that runs on a virtual machine???

So that is simple I have older .iso files, what I want is to run a virtual machine on an updated OS that will run 4 other servers.

So I wanted to ask if there is still a way to customized a download of the server desired, I seem to remember a way to do that some time ago but had not since I have these outdated .iso files

So is there a good description of what the current .iso offerings are? Thanks

I cannot tell which of those several question you really want help with. You will get better help if you try ask a single, clear, answerable question. Yes, you can host VM Guests on Ubuntu Server. Yes, you can customize your VM Guests after install. The currently-supported Ubuntu versions are at https://ubuntu.com/download

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
