No ping after power failure

Am new to Linux, so plz forgive me for the lack of details that might be critical for diagnosing my problem. But you can always ask and I will provide to the extend of mu knowledge.

I have a web serve running in a testing environment, linked to other servers ( WIN 2016 AD, WIN DHCP) through switch. Last week I had a power outage in my LAB, after restoring the power and starting all my servers I've noticed that my web services runs for a while then goes off, when am trying to ping the web server am getting no reply "even though am setting a static IP". So I restarted the services and it worked again for a while and goes off line. So what could be the cause of this and how to rectify??

You've provided no OS & release details. You mention a web server, but no application details; nor if you explore the logs looking for details, nor details if the *unknown* box remains operating (ie. is the *unstated* app that you have handling your web server that is going down, or the whole box) Start with the product, applications (how installed etc) and provide copies of what you've discovered (ie. what command are you using to show it is going offline; was it on the box? from remote? etc)

@guiverc . Thanks for your reply, as I mentioned am new to Linux so I didn't do much of investigation on it, a side from checking services and the network card. The server environment is Ubuntu 20.04.1; and am only running the web service on it. I've tested the connection by pinging the server IP address, which gives a reply just after I restarted all services, but after a while I gives "Request Time Out"
