I have a reoccurring problem with Bluetooth headphones:
I can set them up perfectly fine, and usually they work too. But every now and again, they just don't play any sound.
They do connect just fine. They show up in the settings, and the headphones also give the correct message. But one of two things seems to happen:
Playback (on yt) stops, the video looks as if it were loading, until I change the sound output,
or when I select the headphones in the sound settings it just flips back to the default speakers of my laptop.
I am currently using these headphones

they work fine with my phone, and I've had very similar issues with other bluetooth headphones.
One other thing that is probably related, but doesn't affect my current setup is this: When the headphones have the option to pick between "high fidelity playback" and "two-way communications" (lower sound quality but enables microphone for talking by phone or smthg), only the hi-fi setting doesn't work. (Please don't hold me to the precise names for these settings, I hope you can tell what I mean)
PS: I also think I had the same issues with older machines running older distributions. But I'm not 100% sure on that.
