I can’t see my wireless network in the list

Notes: The wireless hardware is on and working properly. The network is in range. The list of wireless network seems to be otherwise updating correctly. I have tried connecting to the network as if it were hidden, but this fails too.

Initially this problem occurred in Ubuntu 20.04, the wireless network was working fine for a while and then suddenly disappeared.

I have just installed Ubuntu 21.04 and my wireless network is not showing up on the list at all form the outset.

What else can I try to fix this problem?

In case it helps I have tried lspci -vvnn | grep -A 9 Network from a comment in the linked question.

I can fix the situation by resetting the wireless modem. But it still happens occasionally. Other devices are accessing the network, only Ubuntu devices are unable to connect.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
