Advice for non-existent pwck directories?

in flag

While trying to patch up my OS one of the suggestions in the audit package is related to pwck Suggestion: Run pwck manually and correct any errors in the password so i enter sudo pwck and the terminal output is like

user 'lp': directory '/ver/spool/lpd' does not exist
user 'news': directory '/ver/spool/news' does not exist
user 'uucp':directory '/ver/spool/uucp' does not exist

etc. And the list continues. my desktop does not need these processes, what should I do? Can I disable users, and what is the risk of leaving them as they are? Thanks in advance.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
