Auto close programs

I don't know how to name the topic. Well, yesterday I was working on the system all day. The computer was on at night, when I sat down at the computer again in the morning, I logged in and saw that all my programs (Virtualbox, transmision, firefox VPN- even vpn configuration disappeared here) were disabled. Everything works after reboot. This is the second time when everything closes itself after less than 20 hours. Something with the power setting? Someone is annoying me? What system log should I start searching with?

Define "disabled" - were they not working? Closed? Check your syslog - `/var/log/syslog` - for error information before you rebooted your computer - your computer might've tried to hibernate and got stuck, or done the same for trying to standby and got stuck, and left your system in an unstable state. Or there's some other stuff going on behind the scenes that syslog information might give us.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
