Brave / Chrome backup data

jp flag

I want to reinstall my computer but would like to backup all my Brave and Chrome data even with saved passwords and opened tabs.

If I make some test and copy / paste all my chrome data onto another account, I don't recover saved password.

Is there anyway on Ubuntu to make a full backup of these 2 browsers?

you can try going to `/home/username/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser` (`google-chrome` for chrome) and find folder with you browser profile, (typically starts with `Profile` and a number eg,. `Profile 1`) and copy/paste that on the same location in the new machine, but I don't think this will work for passwords and brave-rewards type of things. So, for passwords, you can export passwords by going to settings -> passwords -> options ->export password

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
