Package manager is broken, and nothing works

cn flag

My package manager is broken, and I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried the solutions here, and they all return errors because my broken packages are libc6 and i386. I don't have synaptic package manager to remove them, and I can't install it. (errors from the package manager) I can't update my ubuntu anymore, and I don't know what to do. Is my only option left to reinstall?

You've provided no release details; nor the messages for attempts to fix (easiest when command line options are used). I'd normally `sudo apt update` & look for clues in the output there; then `sudo apt -f install` to look at what packages you're having issues with (you've mentioned two, but not provided the actual error messages themselves which are usually clues). Next I'd like `apt-cache policy` for your packages (and contrast this with what you're running & the output from `apt update` you start with). ie. reading messages is what I'd use to get opinion; we can only see what you show us

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
