Ubuntu Software search provider doesn't show in app menu

ca flag

I learnt that it is possible to search applications directly from the Software centers of Linux distributions, like showed here

It worked on my side with the classic Gnome Software center (the blue icon version), however it does not with the Ubuntu version of this Software center (the orange one) : illustration of what I get as result

I uninstalled the Gnome Software center to simplify my system updates (it does not appears on the screenshot, therefore), so now I can't benefit the search feature for apps. Moreover I don't see the Ubuntu software in the Search setting so no way to enable it. Do you know how I can get the search provider of Ubuntu software or if it was removed by developers ?

I saw it is not a largely implemented feature yet, as few most used apps currently use it (weather, clocks, calendar, calculator, even Firefox for some distributions but surprisingly not Ubuntu...), although I don't understand why Ubuntu would disable this useful utility that exempts from opening the app each time.

This question is really confusing me - I am sorry for not understanding. The software center installed with Ubuntu 20.04 is a snap, I believe, although I don't often use it, and I could be wrong. If you are trying to find the 'youtube search engine' navigate to [https://extensions.gnome.org](https://extensions.gnome.org) and type in "youtube" in the search area.

Knowing what version of Ubuntu you are using might help.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
