how to show changes on local repository on my website

in flag

Help please, I have setup my server and git, cloned my repository to my local machine, pushed the changes to my remote server and I created a post-receive file in my git repository that has all my website files and I added my hostname to the live server and push live to my server, I got this:

 git push live +master:refs/heads/master
Everything up-to-date

Yet when I reload my website it's still showing an empty page please help me! I don't know if the ejs I installed is what is causing the problem cause I have nginx, express and the latest version of node installed. I don't know maybe there is a conflict of application dependencies. It's my first time deploying and I don't know if I got my deployment settings right or wrong. Please help!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
