Ubuntu 21.04: no network on cold boot

in flag

My Network card is only showing up after i boot and then reboot my PC. The network card doesn't show on cold boot.

Cold boot:

lspci | grep Eth
00:07.0 Bridge: NVIDIA Corporation MCP61 Ethernet (rev a2)

Reboot:

lspci | grep Eth
00:07.0 Bridge: NVIDIA Corporation MCP61 Ethernet (rev a2)
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 11)

Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Also, the NVIDIA Corporation MCP61 didn't work. That's why i bought an extra NIC.

This has to do with the firmware (UEFI or BIOS) not initializing the hardware correctly. This has nothing to do with Ubuntu. If UEFI start by disabling Fast Boot.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
