How do I change the keyboard shortcuts in GNOME Terminal that are not listed in the preferences? For example how do I disable Ctrl+L? (This shortcut is not listed in preferences in the GUI, see this related question)

Ubuntu 20.04 Gnome Terminal 3.36.2

That's not a terminal shortcut. That's a bash keybinding, set via readline. See https://www.gnu.org/software/bash/manual/bash.html#Readline-Movement-Commands and https://askubuntu.com/a/1024879/158442

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
