Issues when installing Nvidia Drivers

in flag
Nex

I'm a brand new Ubuntu user, I'm trying to install the Nvidia drivers on 18.04 for my 3060 Laptop, but every time I do I'm getting met with this error

"dev/sda1: clean, ..." This message appears after I startup my laptop, then it won't continue booting

I can remove the drivers with the help from the top answer above

But I need some guidance on how to get it installed.

I've tried doing it via the commandline I've tried software updates

I'm really confused as to how to do this cleanly and without causing disk errors?

Start by disabling Secure Boot in UEFI as it prevents unsigned drivers from loading. Install the recommended driver version only.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
