Full Disk Encryption that is FIPS certified

de flag

I am having to setup FDE that is FIPS140-2 Certified on 18.04 and 20.04. So far I have not found a solution that is FIPS140-2 certified.

There is no ISO that comes FIPS140-2 certified with the FIPS packages installed. So without FIPS packages, any disk encryption would be using the non-certified FIPS modules even after FIPS modules are enabled, from my understanding.

Has anyone had success with a solution to disk encryption that is FIPS140-2 compliant and certified?

I have seen this. But there is no details on creating a FDE that is FIPS 140-2 certified.

We have UA subscription. Having the UA subscription and access to the FIPS modules from Ubuntu doesn't provide for full disk encryption such as LUKS or veracrypt(which both are not FIPS certified).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
