FTP mounted folder won't refresh Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

ng flag

I'm new to Ubuntu and did a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS. I mounted an FTP drive by using GUI "other locations " and entering the address for my windows FTP server and have access to my files. The goal here is to automate the process of exporting data from an app running on my windows machine and importing it to an app running on Ubunutu. After generating the export files automatically on the windows machine I see the changes are not reflected on the Ubuntu machine until I refresh it manually. Cam anyone suggests a way to automate the refresh of the FTP location so I will get the latest version of the files from FTP? (the two computers are not on the same network)

Thank you in advance

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
