Batch extract album covers from mp3 tags in music directory

ma flag

I've just installed Cover Thumbnailer, that changes the folder icon in file manager for the album art, and it works great. The problem is, my music collection has almost all the album arts embedded in metadata of mp3 files, and I have only a few JPG files of album arts available. Cover Thumbnailer works with image files placed inside the folders. I won't extract manually the album covers, because I have around 2000 albums.

I tried

ffmpeg -i "file.mp3" "file.jpg"

which works for individual files.

Is possible to make a script using ffmpeg to generate an album art image, preferably named "folder.jpg" in each music subfolder?

Other solutions that batch extract album art images are welcome!

Thanks in advance

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
