Displays not showing updated monitor

us flag

Ubuntu 21.04. I have a dual monitor display. I recently upgraded one of my monitors from a 1080p to a 4k monitor. The displays setting not only shows the old monitor resolution options, but it also still shows the old monitor manufacturer and size. I've tried rebooting, deleting my .config/monitors.xml, switching between wayland and x11, but it won't recognize the new monitor as anything other than the old monitor.

I'm connected to the monitor through a KVM, in case that matters. The KVM is capable of displaying 4k.

Are you able to test the display without the KVM? Or is it used as a port adapter?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
