can't unlock gnome desktop on ubuntu 20.04, but it gets unlocked when I unlock the screen on console screen

A strange thing happening..please help.
I'm using ubuntu 20.04 and usually I use vnc from my win20 machine to access the ubuntu machine.
When the screen is locked on the vnc, when I entered the password, the screen is not unlocked. It is stuck there. But in this state, when I lock the screen on console gnome and unlock it, the gnome window that was in locked state on the vnc window is also unlocked. I have changed the static IP address of the ubuntu machine today.(Actually swithed to DHCP mode once). Can it be related to this IP address setting? What can I do to avoid this problem?
ADD : I don't know this is releavent, but I find occasiony message window saying 'Chan Kim will be automatically logget out in 60 seconds' while I use the maching through vnc. I just click cancel.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
