Hide the GRUB menu at BOOT and when resuming from HIBERNATION

cn flag

I have configured GRUB with the Grub Customizer tool, by disabling: *- Show Menu

  • Look for other operating systems*

I have ONLY Ubuntu 21.04 with Kernel 5.11 installed, no other OS.

At normal boot from power off, sometimes I get the Grub menu, sometimes I don't, very unpredictable.

When I Hibernate, the first time I resume from hibernation there is no Grub menu, if I hibernate again (without rebooting), then I will get the Grub menu every single time I resume from hibernation.

Is there a definitive guide on what parameters I have to configure and how, at the /etc/default/grub file, to completely hide the Grub menu.

It is a hassle today, because when I am resuming I want it to be fast, but always get the menu, very annoying.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
