Issues with recognizing Huion Kamvas Pro 20 2019

de flag

This is my first week using Ubuntu and my first day using a drawing tablet. So forgive me if this question turns out to be dumb.

So, I purchased a Huion Kamvas Pro 20 earlier to use with my PC running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It got detected on the first connection as a second monitor, great. I was able to install Krita and test out drawing on it, great. The pressure sensitivity on the pen was detected, great.

But, when I ran xsetwacom command to try and bind the keys to some functions, the tablet does not show up. I reconnected it, restarted the system and ran the command xsetwacom --list devices but it is empty.

I reconnected the tablet and rand dmesg to see what is being connected. This is what I get:

[ 4139.761968] usb 1-4.1: USB disconnect, device number 10
[ 4140.084540] usb 1-4.1: new full-speed USB device number 11 using xhci_hcd

Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss something while connecting? Or do display tablets have a need for anything additional?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
