Photo paper printouts are unsatisfactory

br flag

I have a Canon Pix-ma MP210 printer. I have several photos/images that I would like to print. However, images printed on photo paper look like a negative on film and are not clear. Printing on regular paper is fine. But on photo paper looks horrible. I have not had this issue before. Is there a driver that I need? Or, is there some other issue going on here? I just moved to where I'm at and don't know anyone to ask like a tech person. Disabled and not able to find help. What do I have to do to solve this?

Browse to http://localhost:631 the CUPS admin interface. Click on the "Printers" tab, to select the photo printer. You can select "Print Quality" and choose "Photo".

Okay, I may have to have a tech person help me with this since I am not familiar with command line stuff. As for checking printer settings, I did that-going through photo paper settings and trying to solve issue from there. Did not change anything.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
