Anbox: Failed to connect to dbus ubuntu 21.04

co flag

I just installed anbox on ubuntu 21.04 using snap:

snap install --devmode --beta anbox

However if I try to run anbox, for example:

 /snap/bin/anbox launch --package=org.anbox.appmgr --component=org.anbox.appmgr.AppViewActivity

I get a error [daemon.cpp:61@Run] Failed to connect to DBus

What did I make wrong? How can I debug this and make it work?

adb also doesn't list any emulators:

adb devices

Please file a bug report with the Snap author. That looks to me like something that the snap author needs to fix.

It also looks like it is a BETA version?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
