Antivirus in Ubuntu?

eg flag

I have recently made a switch to Ubuntu from Windows just because Windows is more prone to viruses. We all know Ubuntu isn't also 100% immune to viruses/intruders. Is there any need of installing antivirus in Ubuntu Linux just to be on the safer side?

off course **no** unless or until you did something really suspicious on purpose. You can still download stacer as an optimizer , which will also help in security purposes.

"We all know Ubuntu isn't also 100% immune to viruses" There are currently zero active virusses. Rootkits are more of a problem.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
