Can't get iSCSi to initiate automatically

in flag

So I have a NAS that hosts a iSCSi target that my workstation (Ubuntu 20.04) connects to over 10gbe. Currently have the commands to initiate the iSCSi connection and can mount the drive, but cannot figure out how to get this to happen automatically. I have tried adding my discover command (from following this guide) into Startup Applications (tried both pasting the commands in and putting them in a script that gets called with the "exec" command), but it doesn't work. Any thoughts?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
