GDebi error at launch (Ubuntu 21.04)

us flag

I'm getting a strange error message when launching gdebi-gtk from terminal. It prompts an error window which shows as follows:

Downloading the package failed: file «» «g-io-error-quark: Operation not supported (15)»

Already tried reinstalling gdebi and gdebi-core packages with no success. Any ideas on a possible fix?

"launching gdebi-gtk from terminal" in which folder and which file-system?

@N0rbert this is just a regular terminal instance running on /home directory, and the issue seems independent from the folder

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
