remmina error: Could not start SFTP session: invalid sftp packet size

nl flag

I'm running remmina 1.4.2 on ubuntu 20.04. ssh connections work great, but I need sftp also. I've set up an sftp connection, but I get this error when I try to connect using my Sonic WAN address: Could not connect to SFTP server: invalid sftp packet size. I don't get this error when I connect using a LAN address. Also, when I created a second dummy user account, whose home folder is empty. I found I could connect by sftp to this account using my WAN address. I've tried several different machines all on the same LAN and have exactly the same problem with all of them. So there seems to be something weird going on with my own home folder. Could somebody help me diagnose this problem, please?

Ever tried to decrease your MTU size from cient side? This often helped me in similar cases.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
