Faulty upgrade of Linux 5.11 update on Ubuntu 20.04 only launches blankscreen with intermittently flashing cursor

Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem that actually works? This has been occurring ever since the Linux 5.11.0-36-generic update on Ubuntu 20.04. I can't even boot into the 5.11 kernel. After the Ubuntu splash screen, I just get a blank screen with an intermittently flashing cursor. Under previous kernel 5.8 that would normally be followed by the Nvidia splash screen, but under 5.11, the Nvidia splash screen never comes up. The only way Ubuntu will launch now is via the 5.8.0-59-generic kernel. Is there a way to delete the 5.11 updates since they are obviously faulty?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
