How to fix a corrupt or missing GRUB2 bootloader on a Usb bootable drive?

za flag

i have Ubuntu 18.04 on USB bootable drive. It has always been running smooth until one day it stopped to boot. The USB is not recognized anymore on both Unbuntu and Windows (it run but doesn't appear anywhere).

Running the command lsbldk i can read the partition

sda 8:0 1 57.3G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 1 512M 0 part
├─sda2 8:2 1 14G 0 part
├─sda3 8:3 1 4.7G 0 part
└─sda4 8:4 1 38.2G 0 part

but in the sda1 there is not booloader and in sda2 no mounting poin

running sudo fdisk -l and gparted don't show any USB at all

I'm trying to restore my bootloader and from there to understand if ubuntu will boot again. Anybody can help please, I'm reading soo many article (going crazy, i'm still learning linux), but nobody talk about corrupt bootloader on bootable USB . Thank you very much

Lets see details, use ppa version with your live installer (2nd option) or any working install, not Boot-Repair ISO: Please copy & paste the pastebin link to the Boot-info summary report ( do not post report), do not run the auto fix till reviewed. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
