use SD Card to extend hard drive

The laptop I'm using for Ubuntu is very small and have installed an SD card to increase the data storage. How can I have the system use the SD card as an "extension" of the boot drive?

How much could an SD card possibly add? What version of Ubuntu?

It is possible, but SD card won't last long with this type of usage.

My boot drive is approx 30MB and the SD card is over 100MB

I'm not worried about how long the SD card lasts for now. This is learning laptop. How can I do this?

Aren't you confusing MB with GB? An internal 32GB eMMC was typical in many low-cost laptops (and Intel based tablets) some years ago. Although quite limited it's perfectly usable for a startd Ubuntu installation )mind you those used to come with Windows 8 preinstalled for which 32GB was manifestly insufficient). You can then use the SD card to store your files, no need for exotic configurations.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
