MediaTek MT7921-Wifi not detected in ubuntu 18.04

jp flag

I have dual-booted my windows laptop with ubuntu 18.04. It has a Mediatek MT7921 wifi module/adapter which is not at all getting detected. I have installed ubuntu 18.04 and my kernel version is 5.4.0-89 generic.

I have seen other solutions online which instructs to update the kernel and ubuntu to 20.04. But the problem is my team is working with ROS melodic(software) in ubuntu 18.04 and I have to collaborate with them, so upgrading ubuntu is not feasible for me. So any way to fix the issue without upgrading ubuntu is good enough.

If any error report or info is required I can generate it but I am new to linux and command line so any guidance is welcome.

Any help is much appreciated and thanks in Advance.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
