Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS giving a black screen after Installation. Reinstall never moves beyond "Install"

mx flag

I got the following problem with Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS:

I had it downloaded on a USB. I installed Ubuntu in a laptop from the USB. It worked perfectly.

Then I turned off my laptop, turned back on, and then I had a black screen when turning it on that would last a very long time. I never got anything beyond the black screen.

I didn't know what to do next, so I have reinstalled Ubuntu on a USB using another laptop for that. I am trying to reinstall it in the same Ubuntu laptop again. When installing it, it never moves beyond the Install screen. I have selected Normal installation but stays there forever. Laptop is not frozen because the clock is updating and I can drag the screen, for example. But it doesn't move beyond this point.

Question: how can I recover Ubuntu to work or to be installed?

I have an AsusX541U laptop.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
