Installing python-rgain uninstalls quodlibet & picard

cn flag

I am running Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS with Kernel 5.11.0-37-generic on a HP Z420.

I want to use collectiongain from the package python-rgain, but every time I install python-rgain, the packages quodlibet and picard are uninstalled (the other way around as well). It makes me wonder, that apt does not suggest a package to install, when I type collectiongain - so I have downloaded python-rgain from launchpad and installed manually.

Is there any chance I can use these package together?

Ubuntu 20? No such release; is this is a Ubuntu Core 20 install you're asking about? Ubuntu has used the *year* format for *snap* only products since 2016, which differ to the more common *year.month* or *deb* package based systems.

The package `python-rgain` was removed from Ubuntu after 18.04. So the answer is likely: No, you cannot use those *packages* together on 20.04. The dependencies conflict when you jump versions like that. You must install the python-rgain software using some other non-deb method.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
