UVC VIDEO resolution change

us flag

I'm running ubuntu 21.10 with Linux aldur 5.13.0-20-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 15 14:21:35 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I have a Y&H Live Gamer RAW PCI card (which is USB controller: Fresco Logic FL1100 USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev 10) and usb card put together on one PCI card)

After I power the computer up I get the full resolution of 1920x1080(or any higher depending on input) but if I kept the computer running for a couple of hours than the max resolution I can get changes to 1280x720 even though the input is still supplying full HD (1920x1080)

Removing PCI with echo "1" > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:06:00.0/remove or resetting USB with ioctl(fd, USBDEVFS_RESET, 0) even resetting the computer is not fixing the problem. Actually, the only way I can currently fix the problem is by powering down the system(not even restarting it)

I looked at dmesg but the only relevant issue is Found UVC 1.10 device Y&H Live Gamer RAW (32ed:3200)

I'd be grateful for any help.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
