No entry for user 'passwd'

in flag

I got a chicken and egg thing going on. My username isn't in the sudoers file and I can't set a password for my root to edit files when it returns No entry password for the user 'passwd'. It's weird that it regards 'passwd' as user.

As of now I can't do a simple command such as sudo apt update since the username isn't in sudoers file and I can't enter root to edit the file.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
